About us

The Leadership Academy Team

We are Southeastern Synod lay and rostered leaders collaborating to ensure high-quality continuing education and faith formation. Board members gather annually and ad hoc to chart the Leadership Academy's progress toward the Synod’s Vision 2028. Steering Committee members meet monthly and ad hoc to guide and, at times, assist directly in the design, implementation, and evaluation of Academy courses and events. Commission on Research Ethics members gather intermittently and ad hoc to provide ethical oversight of Leadership Academy-related research.
